January 2018 - February 2020
I joined the team near the end of pre-production when the vertical slice of the game had been completed and stayed on the project until its release. During development, I collaborated with a multitude of disciplines (QA, Design, Technical Design and Art) both internally and with our partners at The Coalition.
University Projects
Popeye
The brief for this coursework was to re-create the classic Popeye. The game uses a custom engine written in C++, along with the Allegro game programming library to handle the platform abstraction and low-level tasks.
Bits 'n' Bytes
Graphics module coursework in C++ and OpenGL 4. The brief was to create a game that takes place inside a track and feature day and night modes, proper lighting.
In my take of the game, the player takes control of a data package, that is travelling inside a computer’s circuits.
Flocking Simulation
Physics AI module coursework in C++, OpenGL 4 and the BulletPhysics SDK. The brief was to simulate how birds behave and form flocks as they fly around.
